Outpatient Therapist - Contract (Part-Time / Full-Time):

This position is a contract (1099) position. This position will be part-time / full-time and will give the therapist the opportunity to build a full caseload, based on their training, target population, and specialties. We are looking for qualified candidates who can commit to at least 1 year with our practice. *This position does not offer a full caseload at the start of the position.

 

The Outpatient Therapist will:

• Deliver in-office services to clients based on the client’s presenting issues with consideration given to the most appropriate setting to address the client’s mental health concerns.

• Provide therapeutic interventions to the identified client in order to enhance and foster the client’s optimal behavioral and emotional functioning and interactions.

• Continually assess client needs, physical and emotional safety, and appropriateness of outpatient treatment.

• Work collaboratively with the client’s family, clinical team members, attending primary care physicians, and other community supports whenever applicable in the provision of services to meet the client’s individualized goals.

• Provide the appropriate documentation for service delivery including treatment goals, progress notes, and billing.

• Other duties as assigned by Clinical Supervisor

Qualifications and Skills

• A Master’s degree in a Mental Health field (e.g.: Social Work, Psychology, Counseling)

• Licensure/Certification or Provisional Licensure/Certification Eligible in one of the following: LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, LMFT-A, LCAS, LCASA

• Excellent written and oral communication skills​

*Bilingual is a plus but, not required.
