Gabrielle "Gabby" Milando, MA, LCMHCA
Gabrielle 'Gabby' Milando is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) through the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors (NCBLCMHC). Gabby earned her Master of Arts in Counseling degree in 2020 from Wake Forest University. She also received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wake Forest University in 2018.
Gabby has experience providing individual, group, couples, and family counseling to clients of all ages and backgrounds. She has experience working in various settings, including an inpatient psychiatric unit for children and teenagers. She has experience with individuals seeking counseling for depression, anxiety, crisis, grief, trauma, self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. Gabby also has experience providing crisis counseling and play therapy.
Gabby provides her clients with a safe, nonjudgmental, and confidential environment. She believes in the importance of meeting clients where they are and walking alongside them. She aims to create an environment where clients feel accepted and valued. As a therapist, she helps clients identify and discover healthier ways of interacting and coping with their daily life challenges. With a person-centered foundation, Gabby has experience providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT).
