Helen Mantis, MSW, LCSWA
Helen Mantis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) through the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board. She earned three degrees from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC), including a Master of Social Work Degree in 2020, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 2017.

Helen has experience assisting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with behavior interventions, developing social and life skills, and individual self-determination in the community. She practices with a strength-based, person-centered approach, which allows her to understand and meet the needs of each individual and family where they are. Helen’s approach to providing treatment is by utilizing psychologically eclectic and integrated techniques. She also draws upon Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and Art Therapy. Helen provides clients with a safe environment that enables them to be comfortable sharing while leading to a positive therapeutic experience. She collaborates and assists individuals in clearly defining and achieving their goals to live happier and healthier lives.
